WELCOME TO ELM VETERINARY GROUP

We would like to welcome you to Elm Veterinary Group and thank you for choosing us. This website has been compiled especially for you, to introduce you to our practice and act as a guide to the services we offer Elm Veterinary Group was founded in 2005 when our practice principals joined in partnership but there has been a veterinary practice at our Milehouse site since well before The Second World War!
Our practice consists of two branches, one at Milehouse in Central Plymouth and the other at Plymstock.

The practice partners are John Parkinson and Dick Moar They have both been qualified for many years and they are keen to work together to provide a first class service for our clients and their pets.

Mr Parkinson and Mr Moar employ two fully qualified veterinary surgeons to work alongside them. As a team our vets work at both branches, if you would like to see a particular vet, please telephone and our receptionist will direct you to the correct surgery our surgeries are run by appointment only.

A vital part of our practice is our friendly hard working and dedicated nursing team. The head nurse is Corinna Goss who is in charge of the qualified and student veterinary nurses.

When you come in through our reception door you will be greeted by one of our dedicated receptionists. We have seven receptionists working between the two branches and they are always there to help. Also our office manager Janet Vowles will be on hand to help with any admin queries.

The practice also runs weight clinics and puppy parties. These are complimentary and extremely interesting, so if you would like to bring your pet to one, please contact us for further information.

The equipment at our Milehouse surgery includes x-ray machines, an ultra-sound machine, ultra-sonic dental equipment, blood analysers, E. C. G transmitter and two operating theatres.

All these can be used to aid the recovery or diagnosis of your pet.
